4 Nutritious Healthy Homemade Popsicles

The heat is starting to rise, and there is no better way to cool off than with a nutritious and healthy homemade popsicle that you made at home.

In addition to being an excellent way to add important nutrients to the little ones (you’ll be surprised how many nutrients you can put in a popsicle without it being noticeable in the taste), the preparation itself can also be a fun activity that you can do with the kids (according to their age and ability).

You only need the 3 followings:

1. Blender

2. Popsicle Mold

3. Fruits according to personal taste.

*Please note that in order for the popsicle to be tasty, you need to make sure that the blend is sweet enough (even a little too much) before freezing , because the sweetness decreases during freezing.

*Each recipe is for about 4 popsicles.

1. Banana, Oats and Spinach Popsicle

200 ml milk of choice

1/4 cup fine oatmeal

1 ripe banana

A handful of spinach leaves (optional)

2-3 spoons of honey/maple syrup/agave syrup (according to desired sweetness)

2. Blueberries and Almonds Popsicle

200 ml yogurt (plain or soy, preferably 3% or more)
